The place was bestowed a beauty of natural wonders with an entangled ambiance that will really astonished many tourists. So, I'm inviting everyone to visit this city of Majestic Waterfalls. I'm really very sure that to visit the city's wonders will be the best vacation with a captivating experience you ever had.
Iligan City was the piece of palpitating heart of Lanao del Norte. You can truly pictured out the diverse culture-in unison perspective-of many inhabitants(Iliganon) and guests that portrays a bountiful life due to its highly progress of commercial industry. Because of abundance of natural resources, the city was also known to its bountiful agricultural aspect. The cool breeze of fresh air was characterized by its topographic setting-narrow coastal alluvial plain fronting Iligan bay at the foot slopes of undulating hills and mountains.The beautiful places around the city are accessible by land, sea an air transportation.

Maria Cristina Falls
Maria Cristina Falls is a popular landmark and the greatest heritage of the city and sometimes synonymous to the word Iligan.It is the most spectacular waterfalls among more than 20 waterfalls. It is known as the "Source of Golden Progress". It is 320 feet high, spews 130 cubic meters per second of water and the reliable source of hydroelectric industrial power in the city,which makes it an odd type of falls,that lights the cities of Mindanao. It is located in Barangay Maria Cristina, 8.5 kilometers from the city.

Timoga is a territorial enclave that forms part of Barangay Buru-un which is about 9 kilometers from the city proper. It is publicly acknowledged as one of the top destinations in Iligan, if one feels like soaking in cool waters specially during hot summer. It is because of the natural springs which abound the area with its cool, pristine and crystal clear water flowing freely to swimming pools of different sizes. The cool waters are filtered beneath the earth's surface making it one of the richest source of fresh, high ph, alkaline mineral water which provides a feeling of total refreshment. Diyandi Festival
Diyandi festival was the Iliganon's cultural trademark.It is the busiest and most culturally gratifying experience for the tourists who watched the grandest street-dancing and fiesta activity.It was used to refer to the celebration of the patron saint, Saint Michael the Archangel and the folks offer them thanks for the graces he poured.
